What is Kino?

Kino is open to all creators—whether beginners or experienced—who want to make films and be part of the adventure!
Are you passionate about writing, directing, acting, cinematography, or makeup? Whether you have technical skills or not, you can contribute to this collective energy dedicated to short film creation.
Kino offers everyone the chance to embark on a cinematic journey, regardless of experience or skill level.

The aim is to create together in a spirit of mutual support and resource-sharing.

Participation fee is €60 per person (includes breakfasts, meals, insurance, equipment hire, and more).

Where and When?

This will take place at the Quincaillerie Numérique of Guéret in France, from the afternoon of Monday 5 May to the evening of Saturday 10 May.

A public screening of all the films at Cinéma Le Sénéchal—open to everyone, whether you participated or not.

The Programme:

Monday: An "ice-breaker" and warm-up day! To get familiar with the filmmaking process, we’ll create a short film in just 24 hours.

Then, from Wednesday to Saturday: Teams will form based on projects and interests—this is when the magic happens!
